What to export from Xero

In Xero: Accounting → Reports. Run each of these and use Export (Excel is fine — no need to convert to CSV):

  • 1.Trial Balance — as at today. If you can, also export a second one dated a year ago; it unlocks more checks.
  • 2.Account Transactions — for the last 12 months, all accounts.
  • 3.Aged Receivables and Aged Payables summaries — if easy.

Any subset works — the more you add, the more complete the picture.
