Terms of Service

The terms on which we provide this website and our services.

Last updated: 8 June 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and outline the basis on which Insight Professional Partners Ltd provides its services. The full terms of any engagement are set out in a separate engagement letter, which takes precedence over the service terms below if there is any conflict.

1. Who we are

Insight Professional Partners Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16943160), with its registered office at Water End, Clopton, Kettering, NN14 3DZ. The practice is led by Peter Edwards ACMA CGMA, a CIMA Member in Practice.

2. The nature of our services

We provide bookkeeping, management accounting, virtual finance-director and related financial support services to small and medium-sized businesses. We help prepare and organise financial information and compliance records.

We do not provide regulated financial advice. Nothing on this website, and nothing we provide before a written engagement is in place, constitutes investment advice, regulated financial advice, audit, or formal tax or legal advice. Where specialist regulated advice is required, we will say so and, where appropriate, refer you to an authorised adviser. Statutory filings remain the responsibility of the appropriately qualified professional engaged to make them.

3. Engagement and fees

We are only engaged once a written engagement letter is agreed. That letter sets out the scope of work, the fees, and the responsibilities of each party. Fees are as stated in the engagement letter. Either party may end the engagement in line with the notice provisions in that letter.

4. Your responsibilities

5. Professional standards

The practice is led by a CIMA Member in Practice and works to the professional and ethical standards of CIMA. We carry professional indemnity insurance as required.

6. Our liability

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Subject to the paragraph below:

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7. Confidentiality and data protection

We keep your information confidential and handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data within your business records on your behalf, we do so as your processor under the terms of the engagement letter.

8. Intellectual property

The content of this website is owned by Insight Professional Partners Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission. Reports and working papers we prepare for you are provided for your use in connection with the engagement.

9. Governing law

These terms and any engagement are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last revised.
